Currently, Camargo’s zip codes overlap with the city of Mount Sterling. Creating a unique and individual zip code for Camargo will help pinpoint emergency response, mail delivery, and lower insurance premiums. “I’ve been working with local leadership to secure legislation that would require the U.S. Postal Service to designate a unique zip code for the City of Camargo,” said Congressman Barr, who cosponsored and pushed for the City of Camargo to be included in this legislation, H.R. 3095. “By doing so, we will improve efficiencies in delivering public services to residents in the community.
