Funding was made available through the Coronavirus Relief and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2020, P.L. 116-260, a piece of legislation supported by U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03). "Many of my constituents rely on the John Glenn Columbus International Airport not just for travel but also work," Beatty said. "Ensuring the airport remains fully operational during and after COVID-19 is vitally important."
