Funding was made available through the American Rescue Plan, P.L. 117-2, a piece of legislation Beatty helped pass in Congress. "I am working hard to ensure that every child can obtain a high-quality education now and after the pandemic," Beatty said. "As a strong supporter of comprehensive early childhood education, I promise to continue to advocate for Head Start so that even more Central Ohio students have the opportunity to succeed in and outside the classroom."
