"Help is here, and I want to make sure all Central Ohio seniors get the money that they so desperately need and deserve," Beatty said. "I was proud to help pass the American Rescue Plan and am doing everything in my power to keep my constituents informed on all the support and resources available to them through this landmark, life-changing piece of legislation." Of note, this latest round of electronic payments applies specifically to those who receive Social Security, survivor or disability (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) benefits and who did not file a 2019 or 2020 tax return or did not use the Non-Filers tool. Most payments will be automatically deposited into banks accounts or loaded onto an individual's Direct Express Card they use to receive Social Security benefits.
