The grants will strengthen early childhood education, expand access to comprehensive child development services, and provide critical support for working families across the Mississippi Delta. The grants include: Bolivar Community Action Agency, Inc. – $9,554,815 for Head Start Projects. Washington County Opportunities, Inc. – $2,051,418 for Head Start Projects. Washington County Opportunities, Inc. – $9,054,648 for Head Start Projects. Washington County Opportunities, Inc. – $1,832,304 for Early Head Start–Child Care Partnerships. Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide high-quality early learning experiences while promoting children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
