The FY24 AIG Grant has been allocated to the Belzoni Municipal Airport in the amount of $172,000. This grant will support the installation of 50 feet of perimeter fencing and one entrance gate to bring the airport into conformity with current standards, even though these are not required by 49 CFR 1542. Additionally, the project includes the construction of a 200-foot by 35-foot taxi lane, which will connect the new hangar area to an existing taxi lane. This significant investment in the Belzoni Municipal Airport will enhance the infrastructure and safety of the airport, benefiting the local community and supporting the broader goals of the Federal Aviation Administration. | 1 | 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z | 2026-04-07T21:24:45Z |
