Limiting access to abortion will have dire consequences for patients in Texas, in which women may risk their lives and health to undergo unsafe practices to get an abortion. S.B. 8 severely limits a woman's right to choose and criminalizes medical doctors and essentially anyone else who aids a woman who makes this deeply personal choice.
