Congressman Brecheen voted in favor of the following: HR 1425, No WHO Pandemic Preparedness Treaty Without Senate Approval Act, which ensures that any World Health Organization (WHO) pandemic agreement that affects the U.S. must first be ratified by the Senate, as is required by the Constitution. HR 9456, Protecting American Agriculture from Foreign Adversaries Act, which allows the Department of Agriculture to review and potentially block purchases of farmland by foreign adversaries from China. H.R. 1516, DHS Restrictions on Confucius Institutes and Chinese Entities of Concern Act, which prohibits our tax dollars from going to American universities that host a Confucius Institute or maintain relationships with the CCP. H.R. 1398, Protect America’s Innovation and Economic Security from CCP Act of 2024, which would establish a CCP Initiative (CCP-I) inside the National Security Division of the DOJ with a specific focus on countering economic threats from the Chinese Communist Party.
