During my trip to Afghanistan, I saw the direct result of our increased funding for troops and supplies. It has had a positive impact. From the commanders of the NATO-led Resolute Support mission, down the chain of command, our men and women in uniform are the best trained fighting force in the world and I am honored to have met with them and been reassured that they have the personnel, training and equipment necessary to accomplish their mission. While the threat of terrorism remains constant, so will our efforts to defend against it.
