Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA) sent a letter to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr urging him to review ABC and NBC’s broadcast licenses. The letter comes after the broadcasters refused to air President Donald Trump’s July 16 address on free, open airwaves. In the letter, Rep. Carter writes, “Refusing to air a major presidential address because executives disagree with its content raises serious concerns that they intended to keep Americans in the dark about potential foreign interference in our elections.” Rep.
