Ted Budd Announces No Vote on Impeachment Articles | 2019-12-13 | 2019 | 2019-12 | Republican | House | NC | Ted Budd | B001305 | budd.house.gov | legacy | U.S. Rep. Ted Budd Announces No Vote on Impeachment Articles f t # e Washington, December 13, 2019 Washington D.C. Today, U.S. Representative Ted Budd (NC-13) officially announced that he will vote no on the articles of impeachment against President Trump after the House Judiciary Committee sent them to the floor. Rep. Budd said in a statement: I will be voting against the articles of impeachment. From start to finish House Democrats ran a show trial against President Trump. They brought forward no witnesses who were directed by the president to engage in any kind of bribe, extortion scheme, or other poll-tested crime House Democrats decided to pursue. Even Speaker Pelosi admitted that her caucus had their eyes on impeachment for a couple years.' Sadly, this whole inquiry has been purely political. The American people deserve a Congress that is focused on issues that directly impact their lives, not distracted by politically-driven charades. f t # e | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
