Kaleigh Chambers, Alex Etheridge, and Logan Lanicek of Fairhope Middle School won the Congressional App Challenge for their application entitled Student Shuffle. The students' app will be displayed in the United States Capitol and will be featured on the House of Representatives' website. Congressman Byrne said: Congratulations to Kaleigh, Alex, and Logan on winning the Congressional App Challenge. Understanding and being proficient in technology is critically important in the 21st Century economy, so I applaud all students who take an interest in coding. I also want to thank the teachers and administration at Fairhope Middle School for encouraging students to take part in the Congressional App Challenge and for expanding interest in coding and technology.
