"This legislation delivers over 14 million dollars of critical resources for programs in Broward and Palm Beach Counties to provide housing, economic opportunity, and healthcare to those who need it most." In addition to local community benefits, the legislation includes $772.5 billion for non-defense discretionary programs and $858 billion in defense funding. The funding bill also delivers investments in housing and homelessness prevention, emergency disaster assistance, increases Pell Grant awards, clarifies the role of the vice president while overseeing the certification of the electoral vote, helps with childcare and utilities, provides support for the environment, provides additional aid for Ukraine, and more.
