Instead of enforcing U.S. immigration law to deter illegal immigration, CBP has opted to close or limit access to Ports of Entry in Lukeville, Arizona, San Ysirdo, California, and Eagle Pass, Texas, so that agents and officers can process more illegal immigrants into the United States.
