Donald McEachin: “I was devastated to hear of the loss of my dear friend and colleague, the great and kind Congressman A. Donald McEachin. Representing the best of both this nation and our Congress, Congressman McEachin fought for the people of Virginia proudly through his many years of public service. It was the privilege of my career to stand alongside Congressman McEachin on the Committee on Energy and Commerce, where, through difficult days and good ones, he persisted as a dedicated ally in our many shared pursuits of equity and prosperity for underserved communities. His passing has opened a pained rift that will never fully heal.
