While my office continues to push for supplemental disaster assistance at the federal level, many federal grant programs are already approved and available.” The letter specifically mentions FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, Flood Mitigation Assistance, Building Resilient Infrastructure & Communities, and disaster-specific Public Assistance programs. “Though these resources have been made available, it is incumbent upon state and local officials to apply for these grants. If you have not already, I urge you to aggressively pursue these resources,” wrote Congressman Higgins. 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-04-06T19:57:00Z
