(SLEMCO) for restoration of the electrical transmission and distribution system in response to Hurricane Delta. The reimbursement is made at a 75% federal cost-share. All funding will be delivered to the State of Louisiana. The state is responsible for disbursing the funds to each sub-recipient. Congressman Higgins issued the following statement: “We have not stopped working to prioritize Southwest Louisiana’s recovery efforts, and we continue to push for necessary disaster resources. Over $2 billion in relief funding has been delivered and allocated in response to Hurricanes Laura and Delta.
