Matt also served in the U.S. Navy being deployed to Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, as well as civilian Department of Defense tours in Afghanistan. He has demonstrated unwavering dedication to assistance and advocacy for others, which I have personally witnessed since I came to office in January 2019. I extend my profound gratitude and thank him for being by my side for the last five years.”said Congressman Cline. Miller added, “It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve others. The ability to make a difference in people’s lives has been my life’s work, and I am thankful for the leaders with whom I have had the privilege to work. Ending my service working for the people of Virginia’s Sixth Congressional District is a perfect place to wrap up my tenure, and I thank Congressman Cline and his staff for giving me this opportunity.” Congressman Cline and his staff wish Matt fair winds and following seas as he enjoys his retirement from public service. ### 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-04-07T20:32:04Z
