They will be granting $11 billion over a 5-year period for the operation, expansion and construction of health centers nationwide through the Community Health Center Fund. “Despite the Governor's refusal to accept $11.7 billion of new revenue by expanding Medicaid and leaving more than 200,000 South Carolina citizens without health care coverage, I am happy to see local businesses being offered Affordable Care Act (ACA) grants to improve access to health care for local communities,” Congressman Clyburn said. “This is not the first ACA grant that South Carolina has been offered and it won’t be the last.
