The CR ultimately passed the House this evening by a vote of 221-212. “Ignoring fiscal responsibility, for months Democrats have foolishly prioritized advancing their radical agenda instead of effectively addressing government funding. Due to their inability to govern, House Democrats scrambled to cobble together this stop-gap funding bill that simply puts Congress back in the same problematic situation in two months' time – serving as yet another distraction from the Biden Administration’s myriad of crises. Additionally, this sham bill fails to defund President Biden’s wholly unacceptable and unconstitutional vaccine mandates, which have been responsible for massive job losses across the nation. I resolutely reject this partisan continuing resolution, and I urge House and Senate Democrats to put Americans first, get back to work, and pass FY2022 federal funding rather than kick the can down the road again with another stop-gap measure.” On Wednesday, Rep.
