At 104 years old, Retired U.S. Army Captain Ken Schubring is one of the few remaining Pearl Harbor survivors. He enlisted at just 17 years old, serving in combat from the first day of World War II to the very last. On Saturday, Congressman Clyde attended Habersham County’s America 250 Celebration in Clarkesville. During the patriotic event, Rep. Clyde delivered remarks highlighting Captain Schubring’s heroism and extraordinary service.
