The City of Covington will receive $3,743,581 to build a multi-purpose facility that can double as a Community Safe Room adjacent to the Covington Police Station. Its maximum occupancy would be 736. Tipton County will receive $299,171 and Munford will receive $179,606 for weather warning and alert systems.
