Wright’s murderer, Cohen noted, is serving a life sentence in a federal prison. See the Congressman’s remarks here. “The FBI has done a great job,” Cohen said. Cohen also said he disagreed with President Trump’s recent tweet that the FBI is “in tatters,” and asked Wray about the reputation of former FBI Director James Comey, who was fired while investigating possible collusion between Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia, as well as the reputation of former FBI Director Robert Mueller, now pursuing that matter as special counsel.
