Congressman Cohen made the following statement: These are first-rate appointments to the TVA board and I congratulate them both. I served with Beth Harwell in the General Assembly and found she served honorably as Speaker of the House. I have great faith in her ability and integrity. I've known Dr. Nolan for many years and have found him to be one of the most outstanding state employees I've ever worked with. As a state Senator, he was my right arm in crafting the lottery education program. There's not a better public employee.
