Attending the School Health Fair and Seminar at Whitehaven High School Celebrating the Grand Opening of the Institute of Cosmetology, Inc. and Joy Divine Boutique Early Voting Ends July 30 Bringing Congress to your Corner Attending the School Health Fair and Seminar at Whitehaven High School On Saturday, I attended the School Health Fair and Seminar at Whitehaven High School. My friend Hazel Moore, known by many as “the Mayor of Whitehaven,” puts on this back-to-school fair every year to give out school supplies to students, conduct health screenings and provide other information students might need to start a new school year. Celebrating the Grand Opening of the Institute of Cosmetology, Inc. and Joy Divine Boutique On Saturday, I attended the grand opening of the Institute of Cosmetology, Inc. and Joy Divine Boutique. I would like to congratulate my friend Dr. Roosevelt Joyner for opening the institute and boutique, and I encourage Memphians to come out to these institutions. Early Voting Ends July 30 Early voting ends in Shelby County for the August 4th Federal and State Primaries and County General Election on July 30. Polls are open today until 7PM and Saturday from 10AM to 4PM. A list of early voting locations can be found here. Bringing Congress to your Corner Over the summer and fall, my office will hold “Congress on your Corner” events. Please mark these dates on your calendar.
