These academies include the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. After selecting and meeting with his appointees, Congressman Cole said, “Those who answer the call to serve are some of America’s finest and are deserving of all our respect and appreciation. I am so proud of these nine young Oklahomans for answering this call and making plans to attend one of America’s esteemed military academies.
