After voting for these bills, Congressman Cole released the following statement: “As a proud Oklahoman, I am constantly inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude of Oklahoma workers and small businesses, which employ more than half our state’s workforce. Therefore, as the Representative for the Fourth District, I will always support policies that strengthen American small businesses and the economy as a whole. In voting in favor of H.R. 2931, which ensures SBA employees do not encounter violent, illegal aliens, and H.R. 2966, which guarantees that illegal aliens are not taking small business loans away from law-abiding American businesses, I am doing just that,” said Congressman Cole. “I am proud to have voted in favor of these pieces of legislation this week, as I will always do all I can to protect hardworking Oklahomans.” ### 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-04-06T18:34:38Z
