Environmental Protection Agency: “Today’s Supreme Court decision is a monumental step forward to prevent the Executive Branch from unilaterally pushing burdensome regulations on the American people that are outside the scope of the laws passed by Congress. Since assuming office, the Biden Administration has stopped at nothing to implement radical Green New Deal policies without any clear congressional authorization. I applaud the Supreme Court for affirming that Congress, not the Executive Branch, has the responsibility to make our laws. “Americans continue to suffer from soaring energy prices and rising inflation. Excessive regulations and requirements sought by this Administration have only made the situation worse and nearly impossible for energy producers to provide Americans relief.
