The ballistic missile test is just further proof that Iran cannot and should not be trusted, and will continue all efforts to destabilize the region. Now we see reports that Russia has begun delivery of the S-300 surface-to-air missiles to Iran, a clear violation of the Iran deal. A nuclear Iran will pose a real danger to our nation and our allies, and we cannot continue to sit idly while Iran continues their illegal and threatening actions. The Administration should re-impose all relevant sanctions on Iran that have been relaxed thus far. This weeks ballistic missile test marks the second time Iran has illegally tested these weapons since the Iran Nuclear Agreement was enacted into law. Last week, the arms trade advisor to Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the delivery of the S-300 missile systems to Iran.
