Congressman Kevin Cramer issued the following statement after the United Nations (UN) voted down President Trumps decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israels capital: With no surprise the UN has yet again voted contrary to the rights of the state of Israel. Israel, like any other sovereign nation, has the right to declare their capital. This month when President Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israels eternal capital by announcing the U.S. embassy move, we stood with Israel against their many adversaries in the region. This declaration is not subjective, we are acknowledging Israels capital because it is the right thing to do. Cramer is an original cosponsor of H.Res.671 introduced by Rep.
