U.S. Reps. Diana DeGette(D-CO) and Barbara Lee (D-CA), the co-chairs of the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus, released the following statement today as the group vows to carry on Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's legacy of fighting for women's rights: We are deeply saddened by the passing of our hero, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Justice Ginsburg was one of our country's most inspirational leaders. She was a brilliant legal mind who used her talents to fundamentally change the world we live in today. Her tireless efforts to promote equality for all were second to none and her presence on the bench will be deeply missed. While we, as leaders and members of the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus, are devastated by Justice Ginsburg's passing we're also more determined than ever to continue her legacy of fighting for women's rights. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
