The Congressional App Challenge (CAC), now in its second year, was developed to expose high school students to coding and get them engaged and excited about computer science. As part of the challenge, students will compete against their peers to create their own app. As more businesses look for STEM-based skills in their applicants, we want to help ensure that they have qualified candidates from right here in Wisconsin. I am very happy that there seems to be significant interest from so many young, bright, 7th District students to take part in this competition and I look forward to seeing what they come up with, Duffy said. Between November 9, 2015 and January 15, 2016, 7thDistrict high school students may design and program an app and then submit it via theCAC website.Local judges, selected by Rep.
