House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (R-TX) and Budget Committee Member Congressman Jack Bergman (R-MI) appointed Congressman Edwards to the select group. Congressman Edwards said, “There is no greater threat to America’s sovereignty than the $33 trillion dollars of debt that we’ve thrown onto our children and grandchildren. Washington’s irresponsible spending of Americans' hard-earned tax dollars is jeopardizing our nation's security.
