We were pleased to see progress being made on this essential infrastructure and look forward to its completion,” Emmer concluded. Congressman Emmer has long been a champion of local infrastructure projects and submitted Community Project Funding requests in FY2022 and FY2023 to support the US Highway 212 expansion, resulting in more than $6.5 million in Federal funding for the initiative. Congressman Emmer attended the Carver County Highway 212 groundbreaking ceremony in April of 2021 and visited again in August of 2021 to observe the progress.
