Today, passage of this legislation allows for $622 billion in tax relief over the next 10 years, which allows families, businesses and taxpayers to keep more of their hard-earned money. The package allows for a 2-year suspension of the medical device tax - which is crucial to Minnesota - and the so-called Cadillac Tax, said Emmer. "This package also makes the research and development credit permanent, extends the bonus depreciation credit, and enhances Section 179 for small businesses. This package is a huge win for Minnesota, and what is good for Minnesota is good for the Country.
