NYC civil service exams for October 2022 are now open for filing. This month, we are highlighting exams for the following titles: Electrician Electrician (NYC H & H) Elevator Mechanic Environmental Police Officer Heating Plant Technician (Housing Authority) Landscape Architect Occupational Therapist (DOE) Physical Therapist (DOE) Plasterer Probation Officer Traffic Enforcement Agent To view the full list of exams open for filing this month, as well as our yearly exam schedule, visit our exam schedules page. As of August 2, 2021, all newly hired City employees must be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, unless they have applied for and been granted a reasonable accommodation for religion or disability. If you are offered City employment, this requirement must be met by your date of hire, unless a reasonable accommodation for exemption is received and approved by your hiring agency. For exam related customer service or to check the status of an exam or list you can: 1. Call (212) 669-1357. 2. Log into your account online in the Online Application System (OASys). 3. E-mail DCAS at: LMACustomerService@dcas.nyc.gov. 4. Find a testing center near you. DCAS has a testing center located in every borough.
