The National Recording Registry is a federal archive managed by the Library of Congress that works to preserve sounds with cultural and historical significance to the United States. “For generations, songs from Latino artists have formed the soundtrack to American life. As the Library of Congress works to enshrine the great sounds of the United States in our nation’s historical record, public nominations to the National Recording Registry will shine a spotlight on the Latino artists who have left an indelible mark on our nation. I strongly encourage all members of the public to submit their nominations by November 26, 2022, by visiting the Congressional Hispanic Caucus's National Recording Registry Nominations page,” said Rep.
