"The legislation also offers key assistance for rural Kansas, including $300 million to build out rural broadband and a new designation for rural hospitals to maintain their viability. "Republicans and Democrats have agreed on much of what passed today for months, but relief negations stalled as Speaker Pelosi refused to allow a House floor vote on bipartisan elements without her party's partisan wishlist." Today's COVID-19 relief package builds on previous bipartisan legislation and passed 359 to 53.
