As the father of two daughters, it makes me sick to hear the stories which have recently come to light from within Hollywood, the media, Capitol Hill and statehouses around the country including Kansas. We must hold abusers accountable for their transgressions, and do everything we can to prevent future abuse," said Rep. Estes. "It's clear that this isn't just a problem within any one industry but a widespread cultural problem across our country that must be addressed. I support policies that will strengthen reporting protocols and believe we must increase prevention training. Today's vote will mandate yearly sexual harassment training for members and staff, which my entire staff has already completed.
