https://estes.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=3238 Rep. Estes Votes Against Partisan Green New Deal Spending Bill 2021-11-06 2021 2021-11 Republican House KS Ron Estes E000298 estes.house.gov estes https://estes.house.gov/news/documentquery.aspx?DocumentTypeID=27 scraper WASHINGTON – Last night, Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kansas) voted against the Democrats' so-called infrastructure bill and a procedural vote on their nearly 4-trillion-dollar tax-and-spend bill. "Roads, bridges, air traffic and rural broadband are all critical to our nation, but they are not the focus in the Democrats' so-called infrastructure bill," said Rep. Estes. "After multiple delays because of Democratic infighting, Speaker Pelosi was finally able to wrangle enough of her caucus to drag this bad bill over the finish line." The legislation passed the House 228 to 206. The vote came after weeks of Democrat lawmakers holding out on approving the bill as they demanded a concurrent vote on their partisan, trillion-dollar tax-and-spend bill. While a procedural vote took place overnight on the tax-and-spend bill, a final vote has not occurred. 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-04-06T20:30:49Z
