To keep up with rising costs and ensure consistent coverage for eligible veterans’ families, this legislation raises the fixed burial and funeral expense payment from $2,000 to $3,000. “The families of our fallen servicemembers and veterans suffer greatly when losing a loved one due to injuries sustained in defense of our great nation,” said Rep.
