This year, Congresswoman Fischbach nominated six students for the service academies. If the students are accepted, upon their graduation at the academy, the cadets will earn a Bachelor of Science degree and become a commissioned officer in the U.S. military. The students would also serve a minimum of five years active-duty service. “It is my honor to once again nominate extraordinary students from Minnesota’s Seventh Congressional District to the United State Service Academies,” said Rep. Fischbach (MN-07). “I am encouraged to see passionate young men and women who desire to serve our country.
