Following the tour, the Congressmen joined Tim Schmidt, USCCA President and Founder, and Michael Lowney, USCCA Chief Strategy Officer, for a discussion on the importance of self-defense education and training for responsible gun owners and protecting Americans’ Second Amendment right to self-defense. The right to bear arms is one of the most fundamental rights of Americans. Despite the clarity of this right, Democrats continue in a relentless pursuit to dismantle the Second Amendment and punish law-abiding gun owners. “Today’s roundtable discussion was meaningful and productive, awareness and advocacy is where our mission to preserve the Second Amendment starts. I appreciate the work USCCA is doing to meet the growing demand for firearm safety and training.
