This truly is a unique opportunity to get a firsthand look at Congress in action.” Congressional interns at the Office of Congressman Flood will collaborate with each team of the office’s staff. The internship curriculum is designed to leave interns with an understanding of how a congressional office administers constituent services, produces communications, its operations, legislative efforts, as well as how it conducts committee work. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to attend policy briefings, unique tours, congressional hearings, guest speaker events, networking opportunities, and more on Capitol Hill.
