Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside each team with the office’s full-time congressional staff. The internship curriculum leaves interns with an understanding of how a congressional office administers constituent services, produces communications, its operations, works on legislative affairs, and conducts committee work. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to attend congressional hearings, policy briefings, guest speaker events, exhibits, and networking opportunities on Capitol Hill. The deadline to apply for the spring internship is November 29, 2024. Applicants will be notified of their selection by December 6, and the internship will run from February 3 through May 16.
