The USDA’s plan to invest in independent domestic production capacity for beef processing would strengthen both food and national security, but the administration’s push to import foreign beef from Argentina would undermine domestic producers. Argentine beef doesn’t hold a candle to what our families produce. The overall goal of keeping Argentina from falling into the arms of China is really important, but we can do this without hurting America’s cattle producers. I urge the Trump administration to find another way to accomplish their goal without expanding foreign beef imports.” | 1 | 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z | 2026-04-06T19:32:54Z |
