The Nebraska Breakfast is open to all Nebraskans visiting Washington and provides a unique opportunity to hear directly from the entire Nebraska delegation. The tradition was started by Senator Hugh Butler in 1943 and has continued for more than eight decades. This year, Congressman Flood’s office hosted the Nebraska Breakfast, continuing a longstanding tradition in which offices in Nebraska’s federal delegation alternate hosting responsibilities every year.
