Congresswoman Foushee and Congressman Haridopolos serve as the Ranking Member and Chairman, respectively, of the House Science, Space, and Technology’s Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics. “Women have long expanded the frontiers of aerospace, helping lead our nation with exemplary strength and dedication,” said Congresswoman Valerie Foushee. “May 20 marks the anniversary of Amelia Earhart’s solo transatlantic, becoming the first woman to fly solo nonstop across the Atlantic Ocean.
