In the wake of recent terrorist attacks in Paris, they are there to offer condolences and meet with senior level government leaders to get an update on counterterrorism security related issues, including the visa waiver program. This morning, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard had a productive meeting with French Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Political Director Nicolas de Riviere and National Assembly Member Jean-Francois Cope. They discussed a variety of issues including the visa waiver program, intelligence gathering, the tracking of European foreign fighters, and the military strategy to defeat ISIS. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard visited many of the sites where the Paris attacks occurred, including the memorial site where American student Nohemi Gonzalez was shot and killed. She presented a maile and orchid lei on behalf of the people of Hawaii, offering condolences and best wishes to the victims' families and the people of France.
