Secretary Pompeo's visit comes after Wisconsin State Senate President Roger Roth received multiple messages from the Chinese Consulate asking him to introduce a resolution that praised China's handling of the Coronavirus outbreak. Instead of caving to their request, State Senator Roth introduced a resolution condemning the Party for the role it played in misleading the world on the virus. Earlier this year, Rep. Gallagher received a letterfrom the same Consulate official that contacted State Senator Roth expressing concerns that he signed onto a resolution introduced by Rep.
